My book is called “Nobody’s Perfect” and it is available worldwide on Amazon, both as a paperback and on Kindle.
It has been very difficult for me to face all of the demons from my past, but it feels like a big relief to put it all out there.

Synopsis
Here is the synopsis of my book, taken from the back cover:
Nobody’s Perfect is the shocking true story of Saher, born into the Pakistani community in London. She wants true love, not an arranged marriage, so searches for the perfect man. Along the way she meets a young Muslim man who becomes radicalised at a London mosque, a con man who takes £70,000 and threatens to kill her, a fiancé who dies, then comes back from the dead as an MI6 assassin and a number of psychopaths who try to destroy her. Eventually she finds an inner strength and overcomes all adversity, including her own addictions, with the help of great friends, a loving husband and a beautiful daughter.
Nobody’s Perfect is a true story that needs to be told. It includes numerous topical themes of global interest, including growing up as a Muslim in the UK, radicalisation of young Muslims in London mosques and universities, the search for identity and meaning in life, the pursuit of romantic ideals, the prevalence of psychopaths in society and how they prey on their victims over the internet, addictions, and finally redemption and overcoming adversity.
Writing this book has helped Saher to face her demons, but reading it can help many other people to avoid the same mistakes.
Why I wrote my book
There are two reasons that I wrote this book. The first is that I knew no amount of therapy would help me. I needed to help myself, so I hoped that writing about all of my experiences would help me put everything into perspective. I am pleased to say that it has helped. Now I can see the patterns, in myself and in others, so I know that I will never go down that dark road again.
The other reason I wrote this book is the hope that it can help other people. If reading my story can stop just one person falling for the web of lies and deception that these psychopaths and narcissists weave then however painful it has been for me to write, it will have been worth it. I hope that this book will serve as a warning to everyone to question what they are told by strangers online and to make everyone aware of the types of predators that are lurking out there.
Pictures
Here are a couple of pictures of my book. One is the front cover design for Kindle and one is of the proof copies I received from the printers before it went live on Amazon.
